Led by Councillor Colin Davie, Executive Councillor for Economy & Place of Lincolnshire County Council, more than 30 delegates from local government and industrial sectors including education, agriculture, trade and tourism visited Changsha from 12th to 15th November.
The three-day trip, organised by Lincolnshire County Council and the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub, aims to encourage collaboration between the two regions, as well as bring modern Agri-Tech to the province.
The delegation includes well-known Lincolnshire businesses Siemens, Dynex, Hemswell Antiques, Crop Intellect, Pygott and Crone and Lincoln City FC. Education providers also visiting Hunan as part of the delegation include the University of Lincoln, Bishop Grosseteste University, Lincoln Minster School and the Lincolnshire Music Service.
